As early as mid September 2007, all Brentwood Classics products will contain Bio-Plush Foam made from natural soy beans.
Bio-Plush Foam reduces the negative impact on human health and the environment while offering the same consistency and durability as petroleum oil products. It is helping to create a cleaner, more wholesome, energy efficient world.
For every 1 million pounds of BiOH polyols that replace petroleum polyols in flexible foams, 2200 barrels of crude oil are saved for other applications. The process to manufacture BiOH polyols results in 36% less global warming emissions than traditional petrol based polyols. Producing BiOH polyols requires 61% less non-renewable energy than petrol based polyols.
